Coconut oil is extracted from the meat of the coconut, from

the coconut tree. It is colorless when liquid, pale white when solid,

it has a low melting point at 24ºC.

Coconut oil is highly saturated, containing medium-chain

triglycerides. It has a high content of lauric acid, which is reported

to have anti-microbial activity.

Lauric acid is widely studied in the treatment of acne with promising results.

This oil is unrefined and handmade, it has a subtle coconut scent and there will be batch variation.
